The Parable of the Servant who planted the Olive Trees (Doctrine & Covenants Section 101).
Have you ever had a good desire (to write a book, make a blog, record a podcast) for growing and improving your life, finances, and relationships, only to start but not finish??? Every goal has a certain gestation time. If you start taking steps toward the goal and then give up before fruitation, or don't nurture and protect the work you have.
When going through a hard time ask "what is there to learn?"
What could my life look like? Continue on the path! Pick a direction and have constant, steady movement in that direction! This is where joy comes in!
