This is part of our Youtube streaming series "Daily Disciple"
Theme: Following Jesus in every area of life
Key texts: Matthew 28:18–20; Matthew 4:18-20; John 15:1-8; Matt. 11:29, 23:3-4; Philippians 2:12-13
Main point: A disciple is not merely a church attender or a person with religious knowledge. A disciple is a learner and follower of Jesus whose beliefs, character, relationships, and mission are increasingly shaped by Him.
Discipleship requires more than just transferring information. For true transformation, focus on helping others discover, experience, and do.

Rethinking Church: Keeping Unity in Conflict
Co-Host: Pastor Henry Rick Verdejo
Repensando la Iglesia: Mantener la unidad en el conflicto
Text: Philippians 1:12-14; Genesis 50:20; Romans 8:28-29; 1 Peter 4:12-16; James 4:1-3Topic: Growth, Conflict
Big Idea of the Message: The stories and testimonies of our courage in obeying God can inspire and challenge others to be bolder themselves. God often uses adversity/challenges and church conflict not to stop the work, but to advance the gospel and encourage His people.

Rethinking the Church – One Body, Many Parts
This is an episode that was live-streamed on our church (Threshold Church of Christ) youtube channel.
Repensando la Iglesia: un solo cuerpo, muchas partes
Big Idea :The local church is not a religious event you attend but a living body you belong to; when every member is connected and engaged, the whole body grows healthy and strong.
La gran idea: La iglesia local no es un evento religioso al que asistes, sino un cuerpo vivo al que perteneces; cuando cada miembro está conectado y comprometido, todo el cuerpo crece sano y fuerte.

Verses: Genesis 1:31; Psalm 23:6; Galatians 5:19-23; Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:17-24
Main Idea: We have a cultural problem in the church that results in patterns of abuse, repeated again and again in different locations, traditions and church contexts. Culture change is difficult and requires intentionality. We need to learn how to keep these devastating events from repeating themselves in other churches and ministries. What is in the “soil” determines the health of the fruit; soil contaminated by the flesh produces poisonous fruit, while soil renewed by the Spirit produces Spirit-shaped people (Galatians 5:19–23).

Text: Ephesians 4:25–32; Colossians 3:10; Exodus 34:5-6; Psalm 103:8; Romans 12:14-15; Matthew 9:35-36; Luke 10:33-34
Topic(s): Anger, Conflict, Restoration, Empathy
Big Idea of the Message: Anger is normal; what we do with it can be restorative or it can be destructive.
Application Point: When confronting or being confronted, the believer needs to accept and acknowledge truth, while putting off the auto-response to win, be defensive, use force, or get back at someone. In our anger, we must not sin.

Recently, President Trump of the United States of America, publicly expressed uncertainty about whether he will go to heaven, reflecting a misunderstanding common to many: that salvation is based partly on one’s good works or life achievements rather than wholly on grace through faith.
we wanted to share an episode that clarified what it means to be Saved in Christ. Salvation (or soteriology) according to the Bible is the doctrine of how God rescues and redeems sinners through Jesus Christ. It centers on God’s grace in forgiving sins, justifying believers by faith, and granting eternal life.

This sermon helps us see John 3:16 in the light of the Trinity, so that we can fully appreciate the true nature of God’s self-giving through his Son. We will consider the benefit of acknowledging the entire Trinity in all our circumstances.
It is difficult to determine precisely how often John 3:16 is quoted around the world, but it is widely recognized as one of the most quoted, memorized, and beloved Bible verses. Its prominence in Christian preaching, teaching, evangelism, and media makes it central to the global proclamation of the Gospel.
Text: John 3:13-18; John 1:51; John 14:3-7; Eze 18:31-32; Romans 8:3-4; Acts 4:12

Big Idea of the Message: Paul emphasizes that we have a part to play in our ongoing transformation. While the transforming comes through the work of the Holy Spirit, we must be available and willing participants for the work to take root.
Application Point: We must actively listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit—both in our own lives and through the lives of others—to ensure that the change God desires for us is realized in us as we grow in Christ.
Regeneration: is the divine action by which God renews the fallen creation so that it reflects his character. Also: Born Again.
Text: Philippians 2:11–13; 2 Corinthians 7:10-11; Ezekiel 36:25-26; Ephesians 2:4-5; Romans 12:1–2;Support the show

Text: Hebrews 10:23-29; Hebrews 10:35-36; Hebrews 11:1-6; Hebrews 12:1–13; Hebrews 12:18-29
Topics: Destination, Goal, Motivation

Application Point: Losing sight of your goal can make it harder to accomplish. What is the goal of your faith?
There are 3 groups of Christians addressed in the book of Hebrews:
1. Wavering: those who received Jesus as Savior but who are uninvolved & doing bare minimal in their commitment. The writer encourages them out the spiritual couch potato to press on! (Heb 10:23-24)
2. Group in Danger: 2nd & 3rd Gen Christians who have grown up in church. They can shoot off bible verses & say the right words, but never made their parents faith their own. Its possible to know a lot about the bible & just go through the motions of the Christian experience & still not have real Faith in Jesus. (Heb 10:26-29)
3. Those that are tired: People fully committed to Christ, but tired & discouraged. To them the book of Hebrews brings encouragement & refreshment. (Heb 10:35-36)
