This is why I brought Anthony on the show. He has researched and practiced the art of minimizing distractions over and over again. In fact, minimizing distractions is the theme of this whole episode and a much-needed skill to learn.

A vision takes time because it’s a forecast for the future, but we live in a world that emphasizes the present. Everything is quick, instant, short-form, and easy to access. So being a visionary can be flat out frustrating because it feels like everything is flying past you while your journey is moving slower than molasses. Being a new age visionary takes a different mindset and approach and I decided to discuss this with one of the wisest guys I know, Ronnie Vanderhorst.

I wanted to provide you a real life example of what building your vision can look like. It’s not pretty and it’s not glamorous, but it’s real and it’s doable. Isn’t that what you want? Some stuff that’s actually doable and you can apply tomorrow? 

That is why I brought Claude Jennings on the show. I actually work with Claude at a WGTS, a radio in the Washington DC area. Claude is unique because he works multiple jobs, has his own business, and still has a life. And let’s be honest, that is what your life most likely looks like. You can’t just drop everything and build your vision with no distractions. You have bills, you have responsibilities, you have obligations. Is there a way to build your vision despite all of that? There is, and Claude shares with us some ways in this episode through his story.
