Today I talk about Techie Club - a club which you may want to join if you are thinking about improving your chances to score a job in web2 or web3. Founders have experience from big tech and big tech recruiting and want to demystify the hiring process and prepare you for interviews.

Over the past months it formed pretty active community, lots of good partnerships so it seems they are progressing towards their goal of building an inclusive community for both current and aspiring techies.

Mint starts August 8th, it will be 5,555 NFTs collection (if you see 4,444 somewhere, this was changed due to demand). Super cheap 0.009 ETH each. I recommend checking their discord for all up-to-date information on mint.

Today I'm talking about one of a few new fully on-chain projects called Onchain Block Invaders (OBIs)

OBIs are 5400 evolvable NFTs which are sitting fully on chain. Just one OBI has 1024 variants of skins and colour palettes. They are starting with the lore of light and dark side where initial mint was light side and now the dark side is coming TODAY! (Aug 5).
The team plans to constantly release new skins to customize your NFT and the contract should be able to accommodate up to 32 fully on-chain skins which is impressive. 

Apart from dark side skin mint today, I really like their graphical language and I'm really looking forward to the retro Invaders game release.

Hello hello,

today's episode is about a project I'm super excited about called NEMUS. 

What the team at Nemus aims to do is to save Amazonian rain forests through NFTs and by on-the-ground action with local communities. They are minting now and I highly recommend you go check their cool minting experience where you are choosing from the map a physical piece of land you'll buy as NFT. There are different sizes and different prices so you can start as low as 0.06 ETH (if I remember correctly). 

The way it works, you mint/buy a mint ticket(s) for your chosen size/price which you can then use to claim the land (of a given size) and you choose the land-slot from the map where you can see other neighbours. How cool is that! 

The team has been working in this space for a long time and they are already taking action on the ground. If nothing, you should know that Zeneca_33 is a big supporter and the guys are very dedicated and cool, definitely in it for the long run.

In this episode, I talk about a project by Punk6529 called MEMEs by 6529. 

It's his side project (apart from his open-metaverse OM) making MEMEs front and center of our current #web3 and #NFTs culture. I guess I can say that his tweets "Seize the memes of production" are iconic and with help of different artists he's transforming this ethos into awesome NFTs where some are just scary doom AI scenes, and some are poster-like which I like the most. Posters are my thing!

What I also like is the fact that 6529 is using this project as a way to learn more about NFTs, how artists work and what it entails to aim for fair and broad distribution, and what it takes to fight bot armies. Important to say that the whole project is CC0 and there are already awesome derivatives being made right now.

What you should do for sure is to follow @Punk6529, listen to what he says and act on it - especially on security side of things! And also remember, whatever metaverse you decide to join, the open metaverse is a huge topic and a thing which can make our future more hopeful!

Today I'm talking about the project called Betwixt NFT;

It's a project with evolving generative art which I've been watching for several months. It has very cool headline: Playable, immersive NFTs that help you befriend the voice in your head. 

The whole idea behind Betwixt is to build human mental resilience, both in the metaverse and IRL. It's based on long term research and created as a play-to-thrive game with 11 quest adventures with evolving generative art sculpted by your choices - you progress from Seeker, across Hero to final Architect of your new story. How cool is that, right!

By owning a Betwixt NFT you become part of a movement to build human resilience. Betwixt is being built by fully doxxed team of 7 professionals, experts from multiple fields - from therapy professionals to designers, researchers and developers. There some impressive personalities among the team and advisors. All of them on a mission to help 1 billion people turn the voice in their head into a powerful ally. Backed by Gala Games and working with over 6k+ testers in past 2-3 years it is now getting really close to announcing a mint date and becoming a reality.

Betwixt started in 2019 to stake a radical new vision for the future of mental wellness when they've taken some of the most effective tools for self-reflection and built them into an immersive experience inspired by Myst and Lord of the Rings.

Mint date shall be announced next week and mint prices should be 0.05 ETH for WL and 0.07 ETH for public sale. And when you finish with the game and decided to re-sell the NFT if will reset for the new owner, but still remember your history, so after a few resells it might be pretty interesting to replay the history (if there will be a way to do that!)

Today I’m talking about the project called Duhverse; 

This is project which started as an experiment of a bunch of college friends about a year ago. It turned into great spring board and the initial team went on to create other cool projects while still keeping Duhverse alive while turning it into good starting point for Web3 newcomers. 

You can join their Duhcademy and level up your web3 skill. There are courses available on Duhverse discord. Friendly community and overall it seems like great place to start even if you don't own Duh Lamb.  

There are now two existing collections: Pioneers of the Duhcademy - called Lamb Duhs and pixelated and animated variants of the PX Duhmension - called Lamb Duhs PX. Both are very affordable NFTs with floor prices starting below 0.02 ETH.

It seems that there are still many more things coming - e.g. mysterious metadata upgrade for the original Lamb Duhs, which will come into play for the yet unrevealed “Project Empyrean”, next Duhcademy developments including beginner web3 developer training, new NFT Worlds development with more games and more ways to play.

If you're new to web3 and want to meet helpful people and learn new things, Duhverse is one of the communities to consider.

Today I'm talking about the project called Fringe Drifters;

Fringe is one of the "movie NFTs" projects, but this has larger ambitions - it's not only about funding sci-fi movie but about (hopefully) developing and funding the whole franchise around the movie which would be owned by the community. Their plan is to first create a movie and then building it out from there hopefully mostly financed by NFTs and voted on by the community. 

I love it. Big plans and team with a mission and clear reasons why they don't want to do it traditional way. And in my eyes, movie franchise is kind of like building a brand around any interesting story - which is what all NFT projects eventually try to do.

What you will get as a Fringe NFT holders - first you'll get PFP type of NFT of a Drifter. As a Drifter owner you will have a chance to compete to have your character in the first film and in a variety of in-universe stories as they develop. You'll have an opportunity to win super rare NFTs of the film's lead characters together with all sorts of opportunities to make creative contributions to the universe and win rewards. 

What I'm excited about is a chance to gain in-depth access to the filmmaking process with perks like prop giveaways, set visits, film premieres... The power to vote on creative decisions and the future of the franchise

Minting shall happen in May or June with price TBD. Clearly, fully doxxed team of film makers is also considering current market conditions and how it may effect the mint.

Today I'm talking about project called True After Life: 

After Life is kind of dark themed project which revolves around themes like death, horror, revenge, afterlife, souls, etc.  It is a 3D NFT project which plans to artistically explore together with a community, the questions about what happens to us after life ends. 3D NFTs are rendered with great attention to detail where different traits affect e.g. lighting/reflections on other traits. 

The After Life Genesis collection was planned to be 1100 NFTs, with 999 available for sale but I believe the team decided to cut the supply to 300 NFTs for Genesis collection. That means they actually never made it to public mint, it was all sold-out in pre-sale yesterday. Well, teams have to do what they have to do to survive in less hyped market now.

But the Genesis is only the beginning of the AfterLife ecosystem and shall provide exclusive benefits to holders as the project evolves. E.g. each Genesis NFT will get automatic WL to the Phase 2 ‘Immortals’ collection or will be airdropped an Immortality Antigen. On the roadmap there are exclusive WL giveaways, After Life's larger collection - Immortals, token, Immortals evolution and with all that you'll receive ownership and commercial usage rights for your NFTs.

So as of now you can get Genesis on OpenSea pre-reveal with floor at 0.155 ETH.
