In this week's episode, we look at the EU’s EDIRPA legislation - European Defence Industry Reinforcement through common Procurement Act - aimed at building and buying arms jointly among the EU27. We spoke to key EPP Group MEPs in the effort: Sara Skyttedal of Sweden and Michael Gahler of Germany. The war in Ukraine has added urgency to the need for Europe to better arm itself, along with supplying Ukraine through the European Peace Facility.
