Dana Broslovsky, co-owner of Alda Aesthetics Med Spa in Hanover, MA visited with us to share some ideas, strategies, and experiences in opening a business with her co-partner Alyssa D’Arcy about five and a half years ago.
Alda has grown considerably and when you consider they dealt with Covid as a new company, they have done extremely well. Dana and Alyssa blend very nicely. The two have separate talents that mesh and contribute to their success and is a large part of why they are growing consistently. Soon they will be moving into a much larger location.
One of the great things about the company is that all the employees share the same value system. They love what they do, love the customers, and like learning more about their profession.
Dana and Alyssa treat the employees like family and enjoy creating a culture where the employees are growing in their profession, and love coming to work.
The fact that they survived Covid and reinvented themselves while going through it, gives them greater strength and knowledge as they continue their growth in business.
I especially loved their attitude about being an example for their families. They can utilize their business ability, grow a company and still be there for their families.
This is a wonderful message about a group of women, working together for the greater cause, caring very much about their customers, and only wanting the best for them.
When I asked Dana, what distinguishes Alda from others, she quickly said, “we care more about our customers”.
