Today was a scary day as the schools notified us someone tried to pick up a child in their car. How do you explain that to your own child? We don't want our children to be fearful of everyone, but we need them to know what to watch out for.

After last year's birthday party, I said I'd never throw a birthday party again. Here we are a year later and I threw a birthday party. I have no regrets. It was nothing like the year before.

Self criticism is the thief of joy. The stealer of confidence. It can literally destroy you. Why are we so self critical of ourselves? Because that inner voice inside our head is louder than anything else.

Today I interviewed my daughter. We hear a lot about distance learning from parents, but not so much from kids. I thought it'd be fun to hear from my 9 year old daughter on her take on distance learning and preparing to go back to school in a few weeks.
