This segment will encourage community advocates and residents alike. I talk with a phenomenal young man about his high energy, dedication, ability to galvanize residents and his Love for the city of Detroit.

Tommie Obioha is Co-Founder of Detroit Block Works. As part of the demographic that is often looked upon as disengaged, this young man is an example of brilliance, focus, and commitment. Detroit Block Work's strength lies in its ability to build and maintain relationships across a community’s many stakeholders; from residents to government officials, to non-profit organizations. Detroit Block Works believes in wholesale collaboration.
