Karen Courtright Crnkovich is the award-winning business owner and president of DMC Service, Inc., a commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing contractor in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. She is a visionary leader who has a knack for building bridges between opposing sides to achieve optimal outcomes.
Karen is a graduate of Kauffman Foundation FASTrack program, a fellow with the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP), and current participant of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Cohort 18. She is a mentor to early-stage business owners through the Porter House KC program and the Women in HVACR organization. Active in the non-profit community, Karen is a 19-year member of the Junior League of Kansas City, MO, most recently serving as President (2020-2021). She founded Strong-Homes, Strong Families, a 501c3 whose mission is to assist homeowners in need with mission-critical home repairs. Additionally, she serves on the St. Paul Catholic Church building committee, St. James Academy building committee, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
