What’s up, Faith Builders 💛
This episode of The Building Faith Podcast was truly special because I got to sit down with one of my FAVORITE people, my cousin, Bryce Daniels, and let y’all in on what our real, everyday conversations about God look like.
And listen… this one will check you (in the best way).
We centered everything around Philippians 2:1–18 and asked a simple but powerful question:
👉🏾 What type of attitude do you really have?
Here are a few takeaways that stood out:
✨ Your attitude reflects your walk with God
It’s easy to say we follow Christ, but does our attitude actually look like Him—especially when life isn’t going our way?
✨ Paul wrote from prison… with JOY
That alone should challenge us. If Paul could choose humility, peace, and encouragement while locked up, what’s stopping us from choosing a better perspective in our everyday situations?
✨ It’s not “me before we”
We talked about how culture pushes us to focus on ourselves, but Kingdom mindset says consider others first. Your attitude doesn’t just affect you—it impacts everyone around you.
✨ Feelings are indicators, not directors
Just because you feel something doesn’t mean you have to act on it. Pause. Pray. Let the Holy Spirit guide your response.
✨ You have to address the root
Sometimes it’s not even about the situation—it’s about unhealed places, past experiences, or patterns we haven’t dealt with. You can’t fix the fruit without going to the root.
✨ Gratitude changes everything
One of the simplest ways to shift your attitude? Start thanking God. Even for the small things. It invites peace and resets your perspective.
At the end of the day, this episode is a reminder that:
💭 You won’t get it right every time
💭 Growth takes intention
💭 And God isn’t looking for perfection—He’s looking for relationship
So I’ll leave you with this question we asked in the episode:
👉🏾 What type of attitude have you had today?
And as always… go be amazing people, on purpose 💫
