What would our testimony of faith be? And how do we walk by faith? In today’s teaching, Pastor Ed will use the life of Enoch to teach us what it means to live a life of faith. He tells us a life that pleases God is a life that is lived by faith. What we believe about God determines how we respond to God. Trusting God in the blessings and crises of our lives is an example of living by faith. Everyone that walks by faith will have a testimony and be a witness for God.

Are we living a life that others will remember and or be encouraged in their faith? At some point in our lives we might question what our purpose here on earth is. In today’s teaching, Pastor Ed will exhort us that how we live our lives can make an impact even after we are gone. He says the voice of faith can’t be silenced. We as believers should desire to live a life of faith that will effect others in a positive way. If we are faithful to walk in the way of the Lord our lives will impact our world.

What does it mean to worship God? Do we worship out of routine or with a sincere heart for honoring God? In today’s message, Pastor Ed will teach us by looking at the life of Able what it means to have a heart of worship. We learn through the life of Able that we must come before the Lord according to what the Lord requires of us. We have to come with a heart that is right and with an attitude to give God our all through worship.

Have you noticed how diametrically opposed culture is becoming to the Name of Jesus? Why is that? Because Jesus represents an extremely NARROW way to God. Most other forms of religious expression have various ways to get to heaven. Christianity stands alone by saying the Jesus is the ONLY way. This is why people hate the Name of Jesus so much. Today Pastor Ed will show through the text that there is NO other name by which a person can be saved.

Pastor Ed really hit on something important for us to remember. Our fallen sinful nature tends to lean towards what we can “see” as the default. If we can't see it, we simply don't believe it. But, this is exactly opposite of what God requires of us. God wants us to believe in Him by faith. And the Bible clearly states that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of can't be seen. The Bible also says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So, be sure to stay with us today and allow your faith to grow!

Over the course of history, God has taken action, and made decisions, that would cause our human minds to question. Today Pastor Ed encourages listeners that the Lord is always in control, and that we can trust His sovereign plan. It is easy for us to justify God’s decisions with what would be right according to man’s eye. We must adopt the humility necessary to forfeit our own desires and conclusions, and rely completely on God. Jesus is coming back and wants His people to be ready with a humble eagerness!

Jesus is risen and will be returning for His bride! There may not be a sweeter or more encouraging phrase for Christians today. Without it, our purpose and perspective in life would be very different. Today Pastor Ed will teach on Jesus’ promise to His disciples, and us today, that He is coming back. Adversity in life is inevitable, and it can often cause believers to doubt the Lord’s provision. However, Jesus promises that our life here on earth is but a season, and that soon, when least expected, He will return.

If a pharisee lived among us today, we probably would have thought pretty highly of him, because of his moral code of conduct. Today Pastor Ed encourages listeners to check their own hearts, and see if their Christian walk is solely centered around a prideful morality. Jesus’ ministry on earth revolved around humility, and so should ours. Don’t let the vain pursuits of this world impact your ability to softly and humbly seek after the Father daily. You can never soak in too much from His presence!

Did you know that your faith in Jesus, and the state of your walk with Christ, is directly related to your prayer life? Without a consistent prayer life, your relationship with Jesus will be negatively affected. Today Pastor Ed challenges listeners to be persistent in their prayers to the Father. While the Lord does not always answer the way we would like, we can trust that His ways are higher than our ways. Take advantage of your ability to communicate with the King of Kings, and watch your faith be strengthened!

You can never express enough thanks and adoration to Jesus for what He did on the cross. Today Pastor Ed will teach on the importance of gratitude, not only to our Lord, but also to those around us. Do you know the huge impact you could have on someone’s life just by saying “thank you”? As a society, we have begun to take too many things for granted, and find the smallest things to complain about. Take a minute and consider all of the blessings God has provided you, and show Him the gratitude He deserves.
