We all remember that day in March of 2020. The day we knew something big and disruptive was about to happen. When the US went into lockdown, there was plenty of uncertainty, especially in the world of higher education. Brett Ryan is the Director of Marketing at Lab Stats, a software company that helps universities manage and track their computer lab usage. In the blink of an eye, the need for their product disappeared. So, Brett and his team realized a new need and pivoted their platform to give students remote access to computers and the software on those computers.


In this episode, Brett talks about how this pivot came about and how their marketing strategy had to change with it. We also discuss his book about brand marketing called "Brand Together."
