When she was a teenager, this young woman signed a pledge with the other young people at the Baptist church vowing that she would not have sex until she was married.
She became pregnant when she was 17 and then married and divorced after having two children. Then remarried. Then had abortion with child of second husband because that is what husband wanted her to do.
After she was born again she grieved over these things, especially over the dead child from the abortion.
We are forgiven our sins after we are born again but there are sometimes still the memories troubling us.
By our own will power, we usually fail.
But if we turn to God asking HIM to help us, we succeed.
And if we have The Word on the issue, it can help us greatly through God's strength.
That Word reinforces our spiritual house that we are building.
The Word:
At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh:
I Corinthians 6
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.
(Even if the woman is a prostitute, you become one flesh with her at the time of sexual intercourse. Do you really want to do this?)

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
(Sexual sins are sins against your own body. Sexual sins are different from all other sins.)

It is not simply a matter of birth control. It is a sin against yourself and a sin against the Word of God.

And sex joining you to that other person fragments your soul for you can't separate by walking away. That, being one flesh, stays with you whether you think so or not.

Truths from Bible help greatly.

And in the temptation, you can escape if you will do the following:

Ask God to help you. Ask God not to let you do this.

God is more powerful than our flesh.

(Teach your children these things.)

Many young women today live as unpaid whores.

God says:

Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

If you are the church, take note of the above.

November 05, 2020 Some people think to crucify Jesus afresh

Jesus came to this earth in the form of a man for a short while. Jesus was in heaven with God as "The Word", a spirit. But The Word took on the form of a man to be able to suffer and die for us that we could be saved. Then Jesus was raised from the dead by God and our sins were covered by Jesus' own blood.
But some think to crucify Jesus afresh by doing sins after they have had their sins paid for by Jesus' blood.
And many religious people today picture a type of human form of Jesus which is to create Jesus again to suffer in the flesh of man.
But Jesus is a Spirit as God is a Spirit as the Holy Spirit is Spirit.
And Jesus says:
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Jesus is revealed to us today each time the Spirit of Jesus brings "The Word" to our minds so we can know what to do on this present earth. As we do "The Word" we worship God in spirit and in truth.
And today Jesus lives in each believer.
II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
After Jesus was taken back into heaven, HE appears no more to us on this earth in the form of a man. But HE lives in us and speaks to us by HIS Spirit.
Those religious people today who desire to see a human form of Jesus would have Jesus suffer again in the flesh of man. That will not happen.
But in the end times, there will be "false Christs" who appear, perhaps in vision, to try to get individuals to do something or to try to get individuals to follow them to some place.
Jesus says: Do not go with them. Do not believe them. (Mt. 24)

November 04, 2020 Jesus warns: False Christs will appear in the last days

Jesus says, in the end times, "false Christs" will appear in "secret chambers", which I believe to be private areas in homes such as bedrooms, I believe some church people will report seeing Jesus appear to them in their "chamber".
Just all of a sudden there will be a human type figure which will display himself as Jesus and the person will believe it is Jesus appearing, but it will be a false Christ.
Jesus warns us as follows:
Matthew 24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, HE is in the desert; go not forth: behold, HE is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
(If anyone comes saying, "I saw Jesus in my bedroom," believe it not!)
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
When I attended the church group Word of Faith in the early 1980's, individuals often came saying they had seen an angel. I always wondered about this for they never told any message sent by the angel or anything that angel did. I felt their visions might be conjured from their own minds.
Paul warns: Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

November 03, 2020 Belonging to God. Hearing from God. Following God.

God speaks to us and we hear what He says and accept what He says and are born again, changed by God into a new creature, given the Spirit of God to live in us.

From that time forward, God leads us by the Spirit of God bringing thoughts and concepts to our mind. And we find then we want to know about God. We are interested in things of God after we are born again. And we are then led by God, by HIS Spirit.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

John 10:27-30 Jesus says: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  I and my Father are one.

The Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in us. The Holy Spirit teaches us and guides us. And the Holy Spirit shows us which way to go as we deal with this present life.

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The Holy Spirit teaches us and guides us by bringing thoughts, concepts, scriptures to our minds.

We will be thinking of doing something and when this is not the best thing for us to do, often the Holy Spirit will bring us a thought showing us another way to go.

Examples:

* A man in our church group came into his back yard and was looking at his storage shed which was filled with his "stuff". He was thinking about adding another building to hold his stuff. The Holy Spirit brought this to his mind: "Why don't you just get rid of the stuff?"

* My house in Texas had gas logs in a fireplace. I hardly ever turned them on. One day I was driving down the road and a pickup carrying fireplace wood was driving along side of me. I looked at the wood and thought, "I'd like to have a wood burning fireplace." The Holy Spirit brought the following to my mind as a thought:  "You can have that."  Up to that point, I'd never consider changing to wood. I did this the same day for I knew it was the Holy Spirit speaking.

I find the ideas from God to be easy to accomplish, not complex, financially feasible.

James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

As we live on this present earth, The Word, Jesus, is our light. HE brings thoughts to our mind to show us the way to go and we, who belong to Him, follow His Word.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Devils also bring thoughts to our mind. But their goal is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. We flee from those ideas brought by devils.
If we belong to God, we recognize the voice of Jesus, The Word, The Holy Spirit of Jesus.
Jesus said: John 10:4-5 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Jesus comes to us that we might have life and have it even more abundantly than we already have life.
So those thoughts that steal, kill and destroy are thoughts of devils and we do not follow those instructions. Devils also bring thoughts of the past to torment us and destroy us if we will let that happen. Thoughts from devils bring sadness, discomfort, torment.
We recognize it is a devil bringing such thoughts and we call out to God for help and God does help us when we turn to HIM. And we flee from thoughts from devils and we follow the thoughts sent by God by HIS Spirit.

November 01, 2020 Living in peace, without spot and blameless

As we wait for the return of Jesus where HE take us off this earth and takes us to the new heaven and the new earth, the apostle Peter says to us the following concerning how we are to live as we wait for Jesus.
II Peter 3:14-15

Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
We cannot be involved in the schemes of this present world. We can't give approval to political parties where much evil is being done and where Bible is flaunted in hypocritical ways before our faces. We can't protest in the streets. Our kingdom is not of this world. We are just waiting on this earth for Jesus to return and remove us to this earth and take us to the new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells. This present earth will never be righteous regardless of what we might try to do.
Righteousness is in the new heaven and the new earth which God has prepared for HIS people.
Romans 12:2 Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Pray for those in authority, but don't entangle yourself with them.
I Timothy 2:1-3

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
And Paul says:
II Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please HIM who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
As those chosen by God, follow God and serve God, doing the Word of God according to the New Testament Bible.

October 31, 2020 Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

The world has many sayings which are not in agreement with the Bible.

The apostle Paul warned us not to be conformed to this world. But we are to be transformed by that which the Word of God says to us and by the Holy Bible.

As a new Christian in 1975, I thought it was in the Bible that all men are created equal. I was so shocked to find out this is not in the Bible but is a saying of man.

Some people say, "You'll never get out of this world alive." But the apostle Paul tells us not all will see death.

(I Cor. 15:51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

I was so shocked when I learned a couple of Baptist women were going out to the cemetery to decorate graves. Are we testifying to death or to resurrection? Why decorate graves? Who are you trying to impress? That dead person does not know you are at that grave for he is asleep. So who are you trying to impress?

(In Bible, death is described as being asleep. John 11)

As Christians why are we following pagan acts? We should consider that which we do as Christians.

The way to go on this earth is the way of Jesus, The Word.
The gates of hell will not prevail against that Word revealed to us by God concerning the matter at hand.
John 10
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I (The Word) am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I (The Word) am the door: by ME (The Word) if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (The Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

27 My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.

(No man or thing can take us out of HIS hand.)

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man (none) is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

We know the voice of God, of Jesus The Word.

We follow HIM and not strange voices of this world's thinking and of devils.

October 29, 2020 The "falling away" and the allowing of antichrist into the churches

If we endure in things of God to the end of our lives on this present earth we will be saved.

Jesus warned: Concerning the end times: Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Some individuals start out on fire for things of God but along the years grow cold and fall away from Bible, saying they want to go on to something more interesting.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

And sometimes entire church groups "fall away" from scriptures.

The apostle Paul said there would come a "falling away" and antichrist would come into the churches before Jesus returns. Paul said this had to happen before Jesus could return for the church.

This has already happened and is still happening as churches fall away from scripture:

II Thess. 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

In 1982, God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches. The falling away are the churches leaving the scripture."

Sometimes people grow lukewarm, neither hot or cold.

October 28, 2020 Forgetting those things that are in the past and going forward in God

When we allow ourselves to think on the past, we often become depressed or go in the way of destruction. We cannot go forward if we linger in the past memories.
The apostle Paul said to the church:
Philippians 3:12-15 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:
We cannot dwell in the past and go forward with God.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
We must learn to live in the current season.
