Building your house on the word from God

Dr. Joan Boney, Jesus Ministries ...

The first concept we develop after we are born again, is the understanding of how God uses the Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, to lead us and guide us and teach us in all things pertaining to Jesus.  We build on that Word that comes down from heaven to us by God's Spirit.  Thus our plans are authored by God HIMSELF and we have a sure foundation for that which we do upon this present earth.

And we are conformed to the image of Jesus each time we do that word from God, following that word which is given us by the Spirit of God in scripture, by dreams, or in a word brought to our mind by the Spirit of God.

By this, we start the remainder of our life in Christ with a sure foundation created by God for HIS church.

The ways of this world are opposite to the ways of God as set forth in the New Testament Bible. And because of the ways of this world, the wrath of God, the great tribulation comes upon this earth in the last days.  In those days, things on this earth get so bad that men seek death and shall not find it.

None of us want to be here when God's wrath is loosed upon this earth.  If we do as this world does, we will receive as this world receives.  But if we are born again, we will not want to do as this world.

Some of the ways of this world are shown in this Podcast along with the way of God which we should set our hearts and minds to follow, staying on God's highway.

God speaks to us through scripture, through dreams, through concepts brought to our minds by the Holy Spirit of God.  When we believe that word, we act upon that which that word said to us.  Without action, the word becomes void in our lives.

Abraham believed God ... so he did what God told him to do.

God chooses to speak something to us.  We hear and believe it was God who spoke.  Then after we believe, we act upon that word.  This is the essence of faith in God.  We have faith it was God speaking to us in that issue.

A lack of action is evidence that we do not really believe that word from God.

This tells the whole story concerning the faith level of the Catholic church. They testify they don't really believe in prayers.

Many churches have discarded the law of God today.  They say we will not be judged by "The Law" so they discard all the rules given us by God in the New Testament Bible.  In discarding the law of Moses, they also discarded the laws of God.  This is the road to destruction and damnation.

We no longer do the laws of Moses, we no longer sacrifice animals for our sins and trespasses.

Jesus is our sacrifice for sins and trespasses and by the blood of Jesus we are cleansed, "if we walk in the light of HIS word".

If anyone should choose to continue in his sins after he is born again a fearful fate awaits him.

When we are born again by the Spirit of God, we are new creatures!  Now we have an heart for the Word of God.

If we continue in HIS Word, then we are HIS disciples indeed.  (John 8:31)

Each time we do the Word from God, we are recreated in the image of Jesus.

We, the New Testament church, do not live in the law of Moses ... but we do live in the rules of God as set forth in the New Testament Bible.

Do you know the rules of God from the New Testament Bible?

In the world of the Christian, there are "revelations" where the Holy Spirit allows you to understand a small portion of a subject.  God has given me one small revelation about divorce and remarriage and another another concerning the subject of homosexuals, when the person says he was just born that way.  On this Podcast I will share that which God showed me concerning homosexual/lesbians.

(Tomorrow I will share the revelation God gave me about homosexuals/lesbians)

Humans cause things to become so twisted and complex in their own wisdom.  When God gives us a small bit of information it is so clear and simple.  Here is what God said to me about divorce and remarriage.

For prayer to be "effective" it must be according to the will of God for you.  How do you know it is God's will for that which you are praying to happen?  This is step one to prayer.  Seeking the will of God and being assured that you are praying according to the will of God.

Pam Padgett was raised Catholic.  From her earliest remembrance she heard the Catholic church was the one true church.  After she was born again, she continued in Catholic church.  A Methodist friend often asked Pam, "And where is that in the Bible," when Pam would speak Catholic doctrine.

At first Pam thought it had to be in the Bible for that is what she had been taught in the Catholic church.  She began looking in the Bible for that doctrine she had been taught in the Catholic church and it was not in the Bible.  Several times this happened.

Millions of people around the world will gather together Sunday morning in faith movement churches.  They will be taught a doctrine which seems very right and good, for they will use scriptures and hunt for scriptures and try to follow after scriptures.  There is just one problem.  The consideration of  the will of God in the matter at hand is left out as they seek scriptures to get what they want in this present life.  Story of my years in the faith movement and the dream God gave me to get me out and to open my eyes.
