From acquiring the building through an estate sale and renovating it from the ground up, to preserving little pieces of its original character, Belinda shares what went into creating the space she has today. She also talks about the family recipes behind some of her food — including her mom’s green chile recipe from Taos, New Mexico — and the many things she serves up at her market and deli.

But more than anything, this conversation is about community, family, and home. After 67 years in Denver, Belinda considers herself a true Denverite and feels incredibly blessed to have built her life and business right here in the city she calls home.

A really special conversation about honoring where you came from while continuing to build something of your own.
