Built for This

Hear Director of IDD Clinical Services, Kari Phillips, talk about her "gruff, sarcastic" unsung hero.

Angela Woods, Chief Program Officer, and Allison Horan, VP of Staff and Communications talk about value streams - what are they and why are they important.  This is Part 1.

This episode covers transitions children and families are facing due to COVID-19, as well as some common transitions that can be difficult to anticipate and understand. Stephanie Riccardi, Access's Board Certified Behavior Analyst, provides tips and tricks for families of children and teens to navigate as we move through the end of the pandemic and into whatever the “new normal” may be.

Throughout COVID-19, we saw almost constant reporting on news outlets about ways in which people from diverse communities experienced oppression, marginalization, and violence. What we did not learn from the news reporting is how to talk about it, how to process the experience of vicarious trauma, and how to navigate conversations with those who hold different views. Join Masha Arius, Assistant IDD Clinical Director, and Rachael Rivera, Children & Family Services Director as they explore how you can engage in these difficult conversations while protecting your own mental health.

Ron Colavito speaks with Dorrel Christie, Supervisor of Community Alternatives & Transitional Support Services, and Kelly Romero, Family Support Program Supervisor.
