Not the result many were expecting, but Josh Darrow, KC McDermott and Chad Wilson are here to explain what happened and why. GT had a very complex offensive scheme, and executed at a high level, which kept Cam Ward off the field. That ended up being the difference.
After a 53-31 win over Duke, of course the fellas start the episode talking about the GREATNESS of Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward. Another unbelievable performance from the Heisman hopeful. KC McDermott, Chad Wilson and Rod Mack also discuss the TEAM they see, one molded and led by Mario Cristobal as one that reminds them of the brotherhood from past teams.
The Miami Hurricanes beat FSU 36-14 Saturday night to sweep the STATE - UF, FSU, USF and FAMU. The fellas talk about it all - led by the running game and a dominate performance by the defense. Plus, all four LOVE the fist pound by Mario Cristobal re: RECRUITING.
Lots of good stories from former Miami Hurricanes KC McDermott, Chad Wilson and Rod Mack. We get best memories, best players from FSU - Warrick Dunn comes up - and of course, we look ahead to this weekend's game. One common theme - no let up. If Miami can run it up, run it up.
Josh Darrow is joined by Rod Mack and Chad Wilson to assess and analyze the Miami Hurricanes defense thru six games. Chad notes the play of Wesley Bissainte, while Rod likes the depth that Miami now has at most spots on that side of the ball. The D-Line can be more dominant, has certainly shown flashes, and should be the advantage in almost every game.
KC McDermott and Josh Darrow take a close look at the play of the Miami Hurricanes' offensive line. The news of the week is the return of Jalen Rivers, but first, KC shows love to Markel Bell. Miami's run game was effective against Cal, showing new play designs. Mark Fletcher and Damian Martinez looked powerful and decisive. Louisville is up next; Saturday at noon.
Gaby Urrutia of Inside the U and 247 Sports joins Josh Darrow to talk about the recent commitment of West Broward WR Josh Moore. Big frame, with room to grow and an outside WR to add to JoJo Trader, Nye Carr, Chance Robinson and Ray-Ray Joseph.
QB coach Ken Mastrole joins Josh Darrow, and yes, the topic of conversation is Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward. Ward led Miami to a 39-38 comeback win for the ages on the road at Cal. Mastrole sees so many impressive things in Ward, and highlights a few throws, including balls to Elijah Lofton, Isaiah Horton, Damien Martinez, Sam Browan and Xavier Restrepo.
The Miami Hurricanes with another wild, crazy comeback over the Cal Bears. Once again, Heisman candidate Cam Ward led Miami from down 25 points. Elijah Arroyo had the game winning TD catch, Mark Fletcher, Damien Martinez and Xavier Restrepo were huge contributors on offense. Defensively, Wesley Bissainte stopped Cal QB Fernando Mendoza to give Miami one last chance to rally. Ruben Bain made his return after missing four games.
Former Miami Hurricanes linebacker joins us to talk about how the Miami Hurricanes defense played against Virginia Tech. First things first, Ragone says that Virginia Tech was better than most thought. Quarterback Kyron Drones was a big challnge. Second, there are still a lot of new faces on the D - Simeon Barrow, Tyler Baron, CJ Clark, Dyoni Hill, Meesh Powell and OJ Frederique - and it takes more than four game to gel and come together. Last, Ragone super impressed by the play of Malik Bryant and Elijah Arroyo - NFL TE!!
