Faith steps out when God says to step out even when the destination is unknown! Today we are going to Genesis chapter 12 and taking a look at Abram, who became Abraham, as we see what it looks like to respond in faith! We'll see that it takes a willingness to listen and obey even when it doesn't make sense and to lay down what is comfortable in order to receive God's promises! Let's get in the Word and learn how to respond in faith!

Today we are talking about the fruit of our mouths! What are you saying? The words you speak are a direct reflection of what is stored up in your heart (Matthew 12:34). Proverbs 18:21 says, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." We can use our words to speak life or to speak death. So, lets choose to keep our hearts turned toward God, staying in His Word, and speak life!

In Matthew 5:8 Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." We want to live in that place, where our hearts are pure before Him! There are many ideas of what living in purity is supposed to look like, but the Word of God gives us clear instruction on how, in our everyday lives, we are to remain in Jesus and live in purity! Let's get in the Word, and see what it says about purity and how we are to live in it!
