In this episode Joel recaps his family's recent visit to the Biblical History Center in LaGrange, GA.  The Biblical Center is full of scenes and replicas of Biblical items. It's a great way to help visualize things that are mentioned in the Bible and get a grasp of what life was like for Biblical characters. Joel discusses how this was a good teaching tool for his children (as well as himself) and what they took away from the experience.

Hey Bullet Proof family! This episode is a little different and not part of any series. However, in past episodes we've briefly touched on the 'age of the earth' topic while providing a defense for the Christian worldview.

During some of those episodes we mentioned that there are Christians who believe in an old earth (though we do not). And although this issue can be debated among believers... we do think its important. More specifically, we want to look at why it is important to believe in a young earth? How does that impact one's theology? What does the Bible say?

Our special guest, Steve Schramm, has given this question a lot of thought. Steve has provided a framework, in the form of an easy to remember acronym, to help us think this through: A.D.A.M.  Steve is the host of The Bible Nerd Podcast, and has worked with these types of questions on his show for several years.
