Bumbye We Learn

June is the beginning of hurricane season here in the pacific. And while this past year they predicted a low number of storms, the weather team almost always end their predictions with the statement, ‘but it only takes one.” And with the recent Kona-low storms in Hawaii, we see that we don't have to wait for hurricane season to feel the effect of heavy rain and high winds. 

So, my question for today; what are we doing to prepare, and not only for the emergencies that may come but for the opportunities in our lives as well.  Hopefully it’s not too late or else it might be, Bumbye We Learn.

There are the opportunities to learn and grow from a crisis or problems is definitely true.

We always need to be on the lookout for that regretful mentality. I hear the “could've should've would've” or hear the “bumbai you going to learn", right?

When you think about regret as a feeling or a moment of time it is more of a sadness in looking back. It is something that we should have done and are now regretting the consequences of our actions or failure to act. 

We are not happy about the results that we get from that decision. This is a perfect example of “bumbye we learn.”

We all have good and bad experiences when we interact with people. Most of them are good and they become part of our experiences that helps us grow. Both good and bad, we can learn from those experiences  and learn from those around us.  Even those people that we have not seen in a long time and know we're not always going to be 100% in agreement with - understand that these experiences are there - so that Bumby We Learn.
