🎙️ B.U.M.P.S. In the Night – Episode 11

Haunted Vacations: Northwest USA

Pack your ghost-hunting gear and your travel journal—we're heading to the misty corners of the Pacific Northwest for a haunted getaway you won't forget. In this episode, we kick things off with a check-in on what’s haunting us personally (spoiler: it’s not just ghosts), then dive into three eerie destinations that blend beauty with bone-chilling lore:

🕯️ McMenamins Edgefield (Troutdale, Oregon)

A former poor farm turned eclectic hotel, Edgefield is brimming with vintage charm—and spectral guests. We explore its haunted halls, mysterious music, and the stories that linger in the walls.

👻 Monte Cristo Ghost Town (Washington)

Once a booming mining town, now a remote ruin wrapped in fog and legend. We dig into its cursed history, ghostly sightings, and the strange energy that still pulses through the abandoned streets.

🏰 Manresa Castle (Port Townsend, Washington)

This elegant structure hides tragic tales and restless spirits. From haunted rooms to unexplained noises, we uncover what makes Manresa Castle a must-visit for paranormal enthusiasts.

📰 Haunted Headlines

We close with two major updates from the world of the weird:

- The passing of paranormal investigator Dan Rivera, whose work helped bring haunted history to life.

- The controversial sale of Poveglia Island, one of the world’s most notoriously haunted locations. What does this mean for its future—and for the spirits said to roam its shores?

Whether you're planning your next spooky road trip or just vibing with ghost stories from the comfort of your couch, this episode is your ticket to the haunted Northwest.

🎙️ Episode 6 – Sleep and the Supernatural: Nightmares, Sleep Paralysis, and Ghosts

In this episode, we kick things off with What’s Haunting Us—from writing slumps and lack of motivation to the emotional rollercoaster that has been our lives lately. It’s been a month, y’all. 😅

Then we shift into this week’s eerie topic: The Paranormal Side of Sleep. We explore the strange space between dreams and reality—covering nightmares, sleep paralysis, and ghostly encounters during the night.

We each bring our thoughts (and personal experiences!) to the table. Sarah shares a terrifying sleep paralysis moment. Brooke dives into the science behind REM sleep and how chemical imbalances might lead to seemingly paranormal experiences. And Mary? She’s just here to remind us that sometimes our “electrical meat suits” short-circuit. 😂

To wrap things up, we share Haunted News related to our topic:

Sarah brings in a recent scientific article about sleep paralysis and its connection to the supernatural.

Brooke talks about Sleeping Sickness, the condition that inspired Awakenings—and the mystery still surrounding it.

🎙️ Episode 5 – Haunted Objects

In this episode, we catch up on all the latest chaos in our lives—from extra jobs and the never-ending battle with student loans, to illness, travel, and everything in between. Once we’ve vented and laughed our way through that, we dive headfirst into our main topic: Haunted Objects.

Would you ever bring one home? We debate whether we’d personally own or seek out a haunted item, and then dive into some of the most famous haunted dolls in paranormal history. From chilling tales to strange possessions, we’re unpacking it all.

We also explore current news surrounding haunted objects (yes, people are still buying them online 😱), and share some spooky finds from the paranormal marketplace.
