Strife, self-centeredness,bitterness, anger or resentment are the devil's tools which he uses to hinder us from experiencing God first for ourselves and God in our relationships -James 3vs14-16. Choosing peace is God's will for us as christians to abide by in our relationships so that we experience him in our relationships.

Many of us are in difficult seasons resulting from our poor choice or disobedience to God and it seems as though, we deserve the bad break as punishment. God loves us and longs to break this feeling of shame and guilt plaguing us and acting as a barrier, preventing us from experiencing his love and goodness in our lives. How can we have joy whilst going through life tough challenges? This week we look at some practical tips to engage in to have joy in the midst of disappointments.

Many times we believe that God can and he loves us but because we are waiting or in the middle of negative circumstances we doubt his willingness to come through for us. Take courage in this truth that his thoughts and ways are different from ours and he will accomplish his promises to us in his own way and time.

Knowing that we are loved perfectly by God encourages us to believe and hope for his best in our lives even when we are going through tough times. Take courage in his love and live free of worry and doubt.
