Students and faculty are about to embark on the Mercersburg Intensive next week, and in preparation, Julia Stojak Maurer '90, associate head of school for school life; John David Bennett, dean of curricular innovation; and faculty members Kristen Pixler and Will Willis came together to talk about this exciting addition to the 2020-2021 academic calendar.

On the eve of this unprecedented election in Unites States history, we asked our students how they are feeling at this moment in time. Dylan Gantt '21 will be voting for the first time, and Saskia Mentor '21 will be following the results closer but is not yet old enough to vote. They share their perspectives with us now.

In this special edition of "Making a Difference," Nancy Abudu '92, deputy legal director for the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Voting Rights Practice Group, and Sam Rodgers '11, a candidate for the New York State Senate in November, share their journeys from Mercersburg students to leaders in their communities during a fall school meeting with current Mercersburg students.
