The Tower of Babel: Building Our Way to God—or Our Own Glory?
In this episode, we take a fresh look at the story of the Tower of Babel and uncover a timeless truth about the human heart. The people of Babel weren't simply building a tower—they were trying to create a way to achieve significance, security, and glory on their own terms. Rather than trusting God's design for relationship with Him, they pursued a path fueled by self-reliance and selfish ambition.
We'll explore how this ancient story still speaks to us today, challenging the ways we often try to earn God's approval, build our own identity, or make a name for ourselves apart from Him. While humanity has always tried to build its way to God, the beauty of the gospel is that God chose to make the way to us through Jesus Christ.
Join us as we discover the contrast between human striving and God's grace, and why true relationship with Him is never built by our efforts—but received through His invitation.

In this episode, we explore the opening of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5—one of the most influential teachings in history. Far from being passive or idealistic, this message calls us into a life of bold humility: a posture that is both grounded in grace and courageous enough to confront injustice and unrighteousness.
Through the Beatitudes and Jesus’ radical redefinition of righteousness, we uncover a way of living that challenges pride, rejects retaliation, and reflects a deeper, transformative integrity. This isn’t just a set of rules—it’s an invitation to embody a kingdom ethic that reshapes both the heart and the world around us.
Join me as we unpack how bold humility empowers believers to live differently, love radically, and shine light in places where injustice often goes unchallenged.
