You are either aligning with God's will and heaven's agenda or you are empowering hell's agenda. That's the question you have to ask yourself. When we look at the Proverbs in the scriptures, we see clearly that the wisest man on earth, Solomon besides Jesus, obviously was able to differentiate between the language of a fool and the language of a righteous man or a righteous woman, one who was full of wisdom. And this power that is found in this little member in your mouth called the tongue, is creative, and it has the ability to either cause you to be a landing strip for God or in a landing strip for the enemy. In this episode, we unlock the transformative potential of your words and discover how aligning your speech with divine wisdom can lead to peace, righteousness, and order. Join me, Tammie Southerland, on the Burning Messengers podcast as we navigate the profound impact our language has on reality. Drawing from the teachings of Proverbs and Solomon, we explore how thoughtful dialogue can act as spiritual seeds, nurturing worlds that reflect God's heart. By engaging with the divine before responding to life's challenges, we highlight the responsibility we carry to speak with intention and craft realities filled with life and positivity.Where to dive in:(00:00) The Power of Your Words(06:41) Unleashing the Power of Your Words(19:05) Wisdom in Speaking and ListeningAbout the host: Tammie Southerland is the host of Burning Messengers and the author of Permission To Bur: Breaking the Chains of Compromise from a Holy Generation. First, thank you all for the outpouring of love and concern for the property during this tough time. Many have asked how they can help, and I want to share the needs and a vision for what God is doing here. As many of you know, the property is in transition, with Daymon and our team joining the board of directors. During this shift, we've been hit by a devastating storm. We've lost two cabins completely, and the damage across the property is estimated at $50,000 to $60,000—without including the cost of rebuilding the cabins. The canteen was crushed on one side, and the Tabernacle, the outdoor place of worship built in 1907, miraculously remains standing. However, the pews inside were completely saturated by the rains and will need to be replaced. Power lines were ripped off, and now, all electrical work will need to be reinstalled underground to ensure safety. We also lost 37 massive oak trees, some of which caused significant damage to the grounds. But this place is not just a property—it's a place where God's presence has been known for over a century, a sanctuary of holiness and revival. I believe this storm is not just about destruction but about a Holy rebuilding. It's a moment for all of us to come together to restore not just the physical structures but the spiritual legacy of this place—a place where people will encounter God for generations to come. We are planning a work and worship event at the end of the month, and we already have 30-35 people coming, bringing chainsaws and equipment prepared to serve in any way they can. But we need more than hands. We need partners who feel called to help sustain this place for the future—through monthly support, prayer, and even your presence. This is an opportunity for us all to see ourselves in God's story—a story of restoration and revival. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us not just for the immediate needs but also as we work to build this place back even better as a center for God's presence and revival? I look forward to worshiping and working alongside many of you. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. What if you were constantly being prayed for, not just by anyone, but by Jesus himself? This episode explores the profound reality of Jesus as the ultimate intercessor, whose prayers and sacrifice continue to impact us today. We explore the depth of Romans 8:26 and Hebrews 7, shedding light on Jesus's everlasting priesthood and his role at the right hand of the Father. We ponder how his relentless intercession, starting from his agonizing moments in Gethsemane to his victorious act on the cross, forges a new covenant and offers us eternal salvation.
