This is the end. We've reached the end of Season 3 of Burning River Sportscast. A season that covered the disappointment that was the 2024 Cleveland Browns season. And we are thankful that we don't have to continue living in the nightmare that it was. It was a year that started with Super Bowl aspirations but instead brought us anger, resentment, grief, and despair at every turn. But as we Browns fans always do, we will now look to the future and assume that there is only one way to go from here and continue on with the unofficial Browns mantra... "There's always next year..."

That's a wrap. The shit show that was the 2024 Cleveland Browns Season has finally come to an end and we've all been released from the captivitiy we've been held in every Sunday for the past 18 weeks as we've watched some of the worst football ever witnessed by man. Seriously... what the hell was that? And now the Browns are "running it back" with basically the same front office and coaching staff so obviously we have A LOT to look forward to. In case you didn't catch it, that last sentence was dripping with sarcasm.

It's Week 17, Christmas is over, and Kevin Santa-ski delivered a giant pile of crap to Cleveland Browns fans everywhere. Or at least that's what it feels like as he has committed to DTR for yet another week effectively guaranteeing a Browns loss. To our great dismay it looks like our prediction from several weeks ago will be coming true and the Browns will be finishing 3-14 and potentially vying for the number one overall pick. Which we are then sure to blow on a QB or RB that will come here to suffer behind an aging line that, frankly, is just not that good. It's Week 16 and most Cleveland Browns fans are looking to the offseason and the NFL Draft in April. Even the team is talking more about their plans for their new stadium than their current season. Yes, all is normal in Cleveland as the season wraps up and we're all forced to watch a few meaningless football games until the real teams start the real season (the postseason) in January. At least it's the holiday season and this gives all Browns fans a chance to forget about football and focus on their families during these joyous times... Wait what... Browns fans are just going to wallow in the pain that is the next 3 blowout losses with DTR under center and the offense going no where... because we're Browns fans... and that's just what we do? Sorry everyone... I forgot. For some reason unknown to anyone anywhere we love this team unconditionally to the ends of the earth - a place they've taken us multiple times.

It's Week 15 and the season is over for our Cleveland Browns. The rest of the season is just tryouts for next year for all the guys on this roster and the entire fanbase is once again looking forward to The NFL Draft in hopes that we can finally add some young talent to this team.
