Burning with Desire: Firehouse Romance Book 2
Omg this audio book was absolutely amazing . I had absolutely loved listening to it. I would highly recommend this audio book.
That's quite a cliffhanger...
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Sam was the most interesting part, I really liked his part in the story.
The sheer number if people trying to hook up with Becca felt weird and a bit forced. In fact I didn't really like Becca, she was making an art form out of jumping to conclusions.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The male voices really grated. That said this is the second book with this narrator I've listened too recently and I noticed the male voices in the first so perhaps I've listened to them too close together. They just don't come across in a way that seems natural, the tone doesn't change with the mood of the scene.
Any additional comments?
I didn't listen to the first book, so I'm not sure how much of an impact that will have had on how I viewed the story.
Wow, this review came across as really critical.
It's not a bad story, I don't regret listening to it, but it wasn't great and I can't see myself seeking out the other books even with the cliffy.
Note: This book was supplied free in return for an honest review.
This wraps up Book 1.
This is a continuation of Book 1 of this series. You definitely need to listen to it first. Once again, the story line was good, but the narration didn't do anything to help it. I liked the characters and the story moved quickly.
