What is the mission of this church? What’s our purpose? Why do we exist?

Do you want to be a saint? Do you want to be holy? Do you want to be right with God? It’s about God. God is in the sanctifying business.

I want you to build your life and your eternity on something real. I want you to base your life on reality. And reality has a name – Jesus.

It doesn’t matter what your position is relative to anyone else, anywhere else. Your day can end very differently than it began.

If we don’t understand our sin, we won’t understand the savior. If we don’t understand the savior, we won’t understand being saved.

When you think about the 10 commandments, you tend to think of someone else. My tendency is to figure out how these laws apply to you – and how they justify my behavior.

“Covet” is one of those words we’re not quite sure what it means because there are a lot of words like it.

What does it mean to bear false witness against your neighbor? why might a person want to testify against a brother falsely?

We think this is a simple commandment. We think because we dont rob people that we have never broken this law. There are many ways to steal.
