Our service to others comes from our salvation in Jesus. We are not called to feel sorry for others, we are called to help others to the best of our ability.

What could Jesus and Jonah possibly have in common?

Jonah reminds us that even though we occasionally find ourselves in darkness, God still hears and answers prayers.

Revenge is a hard emotion not to react to when given the opportunity. We take a look at how mercy should always be shown and God should be left to supply judgment.

Jonah is not we expect when we hear the word prophet. God proves once again through the book of Jonah that His will always prevails.

Kindness isn't a difficult task but is often overlooked in reaching those who don't know Christ. It's not tough – we just have to do it.

We probably have more in common with Jonah than we realize. Jonah didn't like the people God asked him to call to repentance so he decided not to go. Do we fail to obey God because we don't want repentance for others.

Paul reminds the church at Corinth to keep Jesus at the center.

We will focus this year on being a church that the inside matches the outside. We don't want to be a church that looks good we want to be a church that is good.
