Timothy Fox is an avid canyoner, climber, caver and has been running abseiling and rescue training days for Bankstown Bushwalking club as a volunteer for many years now. He is highly skilled/trained in rescue and held a very high position in NSW fire department. He enjoys long distance bike rides, caving and has done many climbs in Yosemite. Tim loves to share his knowledge with others in the club and has trained many people at work, club and scout. He has been exploring Australia for past many years. Today we will embark on an outdoor journey with Tim as he shares some of his experiences and stories. He has been an active contributor in Bankstown bushwalking club running the abseil committee and lot more.
Kavita Joshi(myself) has been canyoning for quiet a few years and since last summer (2020) she really started focusing on canyoning in terms of skills, gear and also as her main outdoor activity in life to a point that her friends call her crazy how every weekend she just lives to canyon and camp.
In this episode we will hear more about why she loves canyoning so much and share some stories with the audience.
Dan Slater is an outdoorsy person with a great sense of humour. I have had the fortune to meet Dan in one of my canyoning trips. I love listening to his stories around the campfire and slowly getting to know Dan's many talents from writing reviews of the gear or publishing travel books.
