Déjà connus par les amateurs de bières avec leurs produits vendus à travers de plus de 200 points au Québec, les frères Ferland de la Brasserie MacFerly ont concrétisé leur broue-pub à L'Assomption à proximité d’un quartier résidentiel et de la piste cyclable avec une belle terrasse pour déguster leur cuisine locale et leurs bières. La pandémie a cependant eu des répercussions sur leur projet, car ils ont seulement pu ouvrir pendant deux semaines avant de refermer en raison de la deuxième vague.

Nous discutons avec Steve Ferland, propriétaire de la Brasserie MacFerly, de sa passion et de l'historique de la brasserie, du design, de son esprit d'entrepreneuriat, du nouvel établissement, des projets à venir et plus encore. À essayer: leur menu take-out!

Institution brassicole de la ville de Sherbrooke depuis 2007, le Siboire est un endroit pour les amateurs de bières de la région et pour ceux qui font le détour pour aller manger et chercher des cruchons. En 2017, la brasserie ouvre sa toute première succursale montréalaise au coin de Laurier et Saint-Laurent, à deux pas du Dieu Du Ciel! Puis, en 2020, en pleine pandémie et avec la fermeture de ses restaurants, il y a le lancement des cannettes dans le réseau des Détaillants de bières spécialisés du Québec (DBSQ), qui sont également disponibles au Siboire Dépôt. Le succès de sa cannette IPA sans alcool, la Discipline, a mis en place de nouvelles façons de travailler pour l'équipe.
