SHOW NOTES:
For this episode, I celebrate the fullness of life as I’ve also been feeling the quiet (and not-so-quiet) ache of the world.
What does it mean to go “business as usual” while so many people are suffering?
What does it look like to lead a business, raise a family, and hold joy and heartbreak in the same breath?
In this episode, I offer two principles that are guiding me right now:
* Joy is your birthright.
* Compassion means to suffer with.
This is a tender one. A real-time reflection on what it means to stay awake to the beauty and the brutality of the world…and still choose to keep your heart open.
Whether you're a leader, parent, founder, or simply a human trying to make sense of this moment… I hope this one meets you where you are.
🎧 Intro music: “Back To Us” by Jeremy Passion featuring Julissa Leilani
PS: I refer to the Global Flotilla in this episode. The flotilla comprises over 50 vessels with support from participants in more than 40 countries.

It’s pretty amazing what human beings can do when we come together.

AI DISCLOSURE:
This podcast was shaped in an iterative exchange between me and ChatGPT. The initial voice note was raw and unrehearsed. From there, AI helped mirror back the themes, refine the arc, and organize the story. I’ve been writing since 2017 and have published over 170+ pieces across blogs, newsletters, and essays. I started experimenting with AI in 2021, and for a while I felt blurry about where my voice ended and AI began.
To stay in integrity with myself—and with you, the listener—I want to be transparent when AI plays a part in the creative process. My aim is always to ensure that what you hear is still my heart, my story, and my lived experience… just shaped with a little help.
Thanks for reading Made It. Now What?! This post is public so feel free to share it.
By You set the goals. You put in the work. You crossed the finish line. But what happens after success? Does it feel the way you thought it would? Does it change you? Or does it just leave you looking for the next thing?SHOW NOTES:
