Key Highlights:
1. Nicole is passionate about helping businesses change the world. She believes that brands can be a force for good in the world, and she wants to help businesses use their brands to make a positive impact.
2. Brand is all about persuasion and emotion. When a brand is able to connect with people on an emotional level, it is more likely to be successful.
3. There are three types of brands: personal, professional, and purpose. Your personal brand is your identity, your professional brand is your reputation, and your purpose brand is your impact.
4. The best way to align your brand with your purpose is to tell your story. When people understand why you do what you do, they are more likely to connect with you and your brand.
5. You should share your value with clarity, consistency, and cut through. This means being clear about what you offer, being consistent in your message, and making sure your message stands out from the crowd.
6. There are three key buckets that businesses focus on: value, awareness, and sales and delivery. It is important to focus on one or two of these buckets at a time, especially when you are first starting out.
7. You can outsource the things that you are not good at, but you should always be involved in the sales and delivery of your products or services. It is important to master the sales and delivery process, even if it is not your natural strength.
8. Be visible and authentic. People need to be able to see and hear your brand, and they need to be able to relate to it. Be yourself, and let your personality shine through.
9. Bake your purpose brand in. Your purpose brand is what you stand for, and it should be reflected in everything you do. Your products, services, and marketing should all be aligned with your purpose.
10. Crystallise and catalyse the value that you're offering. What is the one thing that you do better than anyone else? What is the value that you bring to your customers? Make sure that you can clearly articulate this value, and that you're always communicating it to your target audience.
11. Use your personal brand to your advantage. Your personal brand is just as important as your business brand. Use your personal story and experiences to connect with your audience, and to build trust and credibility.
