We gave away tickets to both the AZ Taco Festival and Monster Jam on today's show.  Jen Stevens, from International Living told us about the 11 best South American towns to live in.  Daren Fonda from Kiplingers discussed 8 ways to be a better investor.  David Tyda from the AZ Taco Festival joined us and in the Business Leaders Spotlight today was Peter Rutti from DLR Group.

Today's show was jam packed with guests starting with Marc Saltzman from Santa's Reindeer Farm on the upcoming trends for the holidays.  Then Jim Barry with @CTA on high tech ideas for older Americans.  Randy Reed with TeamLogic talked about the Internet of Things and Chris Lloyd with Lucia Capital Group did his weekly segment.  During the Biz of Sports, Rebecca Pearson, with Americas Lubricants talked about Mobile 1 becoming an official sponsor of the @NBA.

Ken and Mark talked about the SABMiller and AB InBev takeover with John Colley with @WarickBusiness School.  In the Business leaders spotlight was Linda Downing from AZ Agribusiness and Equince Center HS.  Then Associate Professor, Alex Bick from @ASU @WPCarey on higher taxes for women.

Today Mark and Ken talked with the owner of a product known as Signal Vault that products your credit cards while they sit in your wallet.  Chris Gilpin @www.signal-vault.com was on the show.  Next CEO Nan Morrison of the Council for Economic Education regarding their upcoming big conference in Phoenix.  AZ Craft Brewers Association's Rob Fullmer talked about brewing beer using wastewater in Arizona.  Finally Dan Shufelt from @AZHelpingHands talking about volunteers.

On today's show Michael Cocanower, founder and CEO of @ITSynergy talked with Ken and Mark about the cyber security threat of working from home remotely.  Also Ashley Hill from C-Span is in town highlighting both Scottsdale and Phoenix and dropped by the studio for a quick interview.

Today's show included a few charities and some special events coming up.  First was Stepup4kids and their walk-a-thon and fundraising dinner and then House of Refuge for the homeless.  Also How to be a Telemarketer was a topic of interest on the show today and the Inventor of Dippin' Dots stopped by.  It was also the final show of Java with Joeloans.com as Joe Capitano is moving his segment into the afternoon slot on the Financial Review with Sinclair Noe.
