Welcome back, friends! I’m excited to share some big news with you. After some time away, I’m back with a new podcast—called Soul Path.
It’s all about connecting with your authentic self, aligning with your purpose, and navigating life’s twists and turns with mindfulness and intention. What does that really mean? It means creating a life that YOU are excited to wake up to.
In this final episode of BIB, I’m introducing Soul Path and how you can join me on this new adventure. Let’s walk this path together. 🌿
Show Notes/Links
EP51: There's a new sub shop in St Petersburg, FL and it's called Gateway Subs - brought to life by Grant Strayer and a few of his college buddies. You will find artisan sandwiches, salads, vegan shakes, and coffee.
The team behind it are epicureans who value good business and treat people as people.
But the sub sub is only the beginning...
Grant wants to take people that don’t see college as their path and grow them into whatever it is they want to be - whether an entrepreneur or not. One of his many goals is to bring back the culture of supporting a family of four off a high school degree.
EP50: Today we are talking with Valerie Savercool (one half of the wife-and-husband photographer team) that specializes in planning and documenting adventurous elopement days in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) and world-wide.
They have carved out a space within the wedding industry that strips down wedding days to what really matters – the couple getting married.
From sunrise hikes in national parks, to evenings spent watching the sunset from a hot air balloon basket, Wander Kings helps couples design intimate wedding days that are stress-free, adventurous, and meaningful.
EP49: A Beachbody Super Trainer, Joel’s passion has always been teaching and showing others how to live healthy and fulfilling lives, with a career in the health and fitness industry that spans almost 20 years. As creator of smash hit programs like LIIFT4™, the 8-week weight lifting and HIIT program, 10 ROUNDS, the 6-week shadow boxing and conditioning program and co-creator of CORE DE FORCE™, the 30-day mixed martial arts-style training program, Joel hopes to motivate even more people to get fit and make healthier choices—all while enjoying the journey! You can follow Joel @joelfreemanfitness on Instagram and Facebook.
EP48: Today we are headed to Los Angeles, CA to talk to John Lehr - a comedic performer, writer and producer that has worked in television, film, and theater.
He was one of the original Geico Caveman from the wildly successful commercial campaign, starred as Leslie Pool in "10 Items or Less" from Sony on TBS, and as Sheriff Hoyle on Hulu’s original comedy western "Quickdraw".
Under the banner of Howler Monkey Productions, John and producing partner Nancy Hower have created multiple projects, most involving their unique improvisationally-based “hybrid” style.
John also created "Cold. Sober. Comedy." where he performs standup and MC’s at corporate events, fundraisers, non-profits, and sober communities. He talks about his personal/career struggles, his continuing sober journey and the importance of an authentic sense of humor.
EP46: Ex-tech guy from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jeff Shardell becomes a storm chaser and ends up landing in Taos, New Mexico.
Trying to detoxify his life, he stumbled upon how bad traditional antiperspirants are for you. None of the natural deodorants worked well for him so he decided to start mixing his own in his kitchen.
Six years, a company rebrand (from Jeff's Pit Butter) and millions of sticks of deodorant later, Humble Brands has become the fastest selling natural deodorant on the market.

EP45: Samantha Lander was born and raised in St. Louis and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sports Management. After college she moved to LA to purse a career in the music industry. Eventually, she moved back home to STL to start her Personal Training business and expanding into Functional Health.
She is a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist which allows her to run functional labs to find out underlying stressors in the body that are preventing people from optimizing their health. She takes a holistic approach and follows what she calls the D.R.E.S.S. protocol to help people become their best selves.
She chose this path because of her own personal health journey and wanting to help others struggling with similar symptoms. She is a mom of an amazing 4 year old.
EP44: Today we are headed to Buena Vista, CO to talk with Dr. Kelsey Kuehn. She's the founder of Empower Physiotherapy & Training.
She is a doctor of physical therapy, a pelvic floor specialist and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. She specializes in pelvic health with an emphasis on exercise and resistance training throughout pregnancy and postpartum: her clinical sweet spot lies at the intersection of barbell sports and pelvic health.
Empower Physio & Training exists to equip you with knowledge and leave you empowered.
Kelsey offers in-person physical therapy, remote rehab coaching, exercise & nutrition coaching.
Valuing education, she also provides in-person clinics for coaches and clinicians.
EP43: Mark Joseph Szymanski is an entrepreneur, website developer, content creator, and investor. He is the founder of MJS Industries, the parent company of several brands including Szymanski Media, Fueled By Progress, FindIT Tech, and AM In The PM.
To his core, Mark lives by the mantra "Learn, Apply, Share". A passion for learning new skills, a self-constructed arena to practice in, and a call to provide value have given him the opportunity to fully embrace that motto.
Mark currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA, and spends his free time playing ball hockey and living an intentional life with his girlfriend, Amanda, and cat, Minnie.
