Hey everyone today I went over a few basics of hashtags and why they are important... I also gave you the strategy I use when coming up with hashtags to use.

The hashtag ladder:

5 = Similiar engagement to your own posts.

5 = Slightly more engagement than your posts.

5 = Fairly larger than your posts.

5 = Big hashtags - hard to rank for.

5 = Very big hashtags - will hardly every rank for.

5 = Massive hashtags - will never rank for.

In this episode, I talk about 3 of the most important things you need when growing an Instagram account!

Introduction to Instagram growth series. I'm currently growing an Instagram account in the health and fitness niche called @nutritguru. At the time of this podcast, the account sits at 3,789 followers. My main goals for this account are to get it to 10,000 followers and start earning affiliate commissions slowly building it up to £1000 per month. I'll be taking you on the journey with me. Giving you all the tips and tricks I learn along the way.

I was a broke student struggling to get by. With all the studying and work I found it extremely hard to make enough money to live the lifestyle I was living, let alone live the lifestyle I dreamed of. At the time of all this, I really wanted to make money online and travel the world. 

But I was struggling to make anything work. I remember I was scrolling through Instagram an ad caught my attention. “You’re just one funnel away! Join the 30-day challenge - transform your business and life” I stopped on the ad and decided to take a look. 

The One Funnel Away Challenge is what I found, and at first, I was sceptical. “$100, wow I can’t afford that,” I said. Scared by the initial investment I quickly closed the search window and got back to getting ready for school. I kept seeing the ad over and over again! 

Every page I went on, the ad popped up. Eventually, I was so frustrated with the ad, I decided to just part with the hard-earned money I'd been saving... 

I believe at the time I had about $120 to my name, so paying $100 for this challenge was a HUGE amount of it.

 2 weeks into the challenge and I felt like giving up, but I had a fire burning inside me. I had to make something work. I kept going. I had to do this not only for myself but for everyone who believed in me. 

2 years later from the day I finished the challenge and I’m extremely happy to say that I now fully support myself from the income I make online.  It’s safe to stay if I didn’t take The One Funnel Away Challenge and that ad didn’t keep showing up I would not be in the same position that I’m in today! I’m forever grateful for the coaches - Russell, Steven and the others within this challenge.
