Vismay Amrit is one of those rare individuals who completely dismantles the expectations of society and forges a path that no other person has walked before him. Born in Israel but cultured in multiple countries around the world including India, Brazil, and now Costa Rica working with Ayahuasca in various ayahuasca and other medicine traditions, he now resides in Costa Rica where he operates and owns Florestral retreat center.
https://www.florestral.org . It is there he does his part to proliferate the generous distribution of medicinal plants around the world, runs retreats and also is currently constructing an amazing project which will be a world-class recording studio called Sacred Sound Studios https://www.sacredsoundstudios.org.
We talk about all of the above in this conversation and soon they will be launching a crowdfunding campaign for Sacred Sound Studios which you may have a chance to be a part of. This is one of my favorite conversations and I hope you enjoy it.
As always, this episode is brought to you by Soltara Healing Center.

For episode 22 of Business, Life, and Ayahuasca we are incredibly thankful to have on the godfather of psychedelics, Dennis Mckenna. Dennis Mckenna has been on the scene of the psychedelic movement since the 60s and is still vastly influential today. Dennis Mckenna along with his late brother Terrence Mckenna were a key factor in the introduction of psilocybin mushrooms in the United States. They are considered pioneers of western psychedelic culture and Dennis Mckenna continues to impact the culture through education and organizations such as his very own Mckenna Academy of Natural Philosophy. For this podcast, I am joined by Jesse Gould and my partner Melissa Stangl, Co-Founder of Soltar Healing Center. Jesse Gould is the founder and president of the Heroic Hearts Project (https://www.heroicheartsproject.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping military veterans around the world heal PTSD, addiction, depression, and anxiety with psychedelic treatment, specifically ayahuasca. In this episode, Jesse shares the journey that led him to psychedelics and why he built a business that provides veterans access to plant medicine. We get into his time as an Army Ranger, his transition to corporate life, and how he pivoted to passion-based work. Jesse gives us the low down on the importance of psychedelic therapy versus traditional therapy and how it will change the way we treat mental illness forever. Please enjoy this important conversation with movers in the plant medicine space.
