KATHY GOHARI has over 30 years of luxury marketing experience. She is currently the Director of Audemars Piguet on Rodeo Drive and was formerly the Director of Client Engagement for Valentino, West Coast. Kathy is the President of the Rodeo Drive Committee (x3) and is a respected subject matter expert providing guidance to the City of Beverly Hills (Mayor and City Council).
She entered the world of luxury retail on Rodeo Drive while still in school at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. The famed three-block stretch of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills has remained a constant in her career, which includes positions at Christian Lacroix, Giorgio Armani, and Dolce & Gabbana. During her time at Valentino, she served as Regional West Coast Manager and General Manager before taking on her last role with the company.
From 2017-2018, Kathy initially served as President of the Rodeo Drive Committee, a non-profit organization founded in 1972 to represent the interests of its members, among them retailers, hoteliers, and landowners housed on the luxury thoroughfare. Her involvement with the Committee spans more than two decades. Currently, Kathy is the President of the Rodeo Drive Committee and a Board Member of The Beverly Hills Conference of Visitors Bureau. She is involved in Miracle Babies and H.E.A.R.T. charities and is the recipient of the 2019 Beverly Hills Proclamation for Civic Duty.
Kathy was born in London, England from Iranian parents and spent her early life in Canada and Italy before settling in Los Angeles, California. She has been involved in many civic and nonprofit organizations, most currently she diligently working on increasing awareness about the injustices against women in Iran. She strongly believes in giving back and helping communities in need.
