    Climate change is an existential threat faced by our society. This conference provides a discussion forum between CUNY and other

    Corporate Integrity, this lecture celebrates the lasting impact of Abe Briloff
    with a talk by  of Abe’s former student and Baruch alum Charlie
    Dreifus for a discussion of how Abe fought to guarantee higher standards of
    transparency and ethical conduct in the financial and accounting industries. He

  • The New Story of Business : Capitalism in the 21st Century
    A quiet revolution is sweeping the business landscape. The old story of business is slowly changing. There are many suggestions for a more human centered version of capitalism, such as conscious capitalism, inclusive capitalism, impact investing, socially responsible investing, etc. And there is renewed interest around the world in older ideas such as corporate social responsibility and sustainability. However these changes settle out, there are a number of key principles that are important. This program will focus on these principle that undergird this new story of business that is emerging. The principles include the importance of purpose, values and ethics, stakeholders, a more robust understanding of business as embedded in society, and a more complex idea of the human beings who are engaged in business.
