Too often, people try to take shortcuts. They cut corners. Then they expect to reap the rewards of doing the least amount of work for the greatest effort. Well, it doesn't quite work that way. Instead, you have to do the most amount of work with the expectation of the least initial return. But, also, you have to do the common thing uncommonly well.

Albert Einstein once said the following. Try not to become a man of success, but rather, a man of value. However, too often, we chase the all-mighty dollar rather than focusing on adding real value. When you do that, you'll find it hard to make real strides. But when you focus on the value first, all other things fall into place.

If you're in business or thinking about starting a business, you have to understand what it takes. It's not easy. No one ever said it would be. But you have to prepare yourself for the storm.

The truth is that success as entrepreneur involves living a few years of your life like most people won't so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can't. Don't shy away from the effort it will take. Eventually, it'll all pay off and be worthwhile. It just won't happen quickly.

There are two schools of thought out there. One is that the glass is half empty. The other is that the glass is half full. Which do you belong to? This is as serious of a question as it comes. Those who focus on scarcity, never have enough to go around. Thus, they're limited by that thinking. But, when you shift to an abundance state of mind, that's when the real magic begins to happen.
