No one can support someone as perfectly as God, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t always try. There are so many ways we can support one another, so how do we know the correct way? Wouldn’t it be nice if the other person just told us? Why do some people play games, dropping hints, expecting us to figure out what they need? Imagine if you went into a conversation telling the other person up front that you didn’t want a solution from them, you just wanted them to listen to you. Communication is key to getting the support you need. Sometimes, however, someone may not even know how they would be best supported. What about when someone’s vision of support is actually enabling? Support isn’t black and white, all we can do is try our best for one another.
