We talk about the fact that yea...we are going to have some traits of our narcissistic mother. BUT here is the thing, we are so hyper cognizant of not being anything like her that when we exhibit a trauma response, a trait that she had or even a normal human response to a situation we can be left with pondering...am I like her.
