Songwriting is a messy and sometimes confusing code to crack. Do I write from the heart, or do I follow the formula for a 'hit song'?

It can be a hard balance of trying to be as vulnerable as possible in your songwriting style, while also writing in a way that is catchy and will reach the audience you want to reach.

I've spent the last 9 years really diving into this process, and try to share some of major things I've learned in this short episode!
