But MOSTLY Disney

This week we're chatting about all the music of Disney — from classic scores to the tunes that make the parks and films feel like home. Our special guest is James Bohn, author of Music in Disney's Animated Features and a composer and scholar who's spent years digging through the Disney archives to trace how music shapes the studio's storytelling. It's a deep, fun conversation about the songs, scores, and composers behind the magic.

Andrew's taking the night off, so our good buddy Hawk steps in to co-host, while Tater joins from an undisclosed location in Florida, fresh off a family trip to Disney World. Expect the usual mix of Disney knowledge, banter, and a few tangents along the way.

Thanks for listening to But MOSTLY Disney — if you enjoy the show, subscribe, leave a review, and join us live for the next episode.

I am so excited for this show!

Have you ever said to yourself, “Self, I wish I could just live at Disney World?” Of course you have. And then you may have brushed it aside and went about your normal life!Well, our guest on this show stayed the course and found a way to do it! Their family found a way to make Disney more than a yearly escape - they made it their everyday life and mixed in unlimited magic with their everyday existence - and I have so many questions!

So join us to get your questions answered and your dream validated! Then feel free to draw your own blueprint for making your life as magical as possible!

Boy, oh boy do we have a great show tonight! We have two of my favorite people - Paul Gowder and Jennifer Schoen! Both are great Disney People but they, like of all of us, have a myriad of other interests! And tonight we have the opportunity to talk about Disney (mostly) bourbon. travel, college, content creation - and that’s just scratching the surface!

So join us on this one as we run through a lot of the liquid offerings that Disney provides. I don't even drink alcohol and found this facinating!!!

Disney is out here changing everything - sometimes against our wishes. So naturally, Andrew and I called in the big guns to talk about it. Tim Foster from Celebrations Press joins the show to help make sense of all the construction walls, surprise closures, and "exciting new experiences" Is your favorite ride gone or changing? Maybe. Is there a new one coming that Disney has been teasing for three years with zero updates? Probably. Is Disney ever going to put the lobby of the Polynesian Resort back the way it belongs? I doubt it.Tim has the knowledge, Andrew and I have the opinions, and you can bring the questions! So join for all the fun! No pitchfork aloud!

While the current line up of Disney live action films may, or may not be, my favorite films - there are a lot of Disney live action films from my childhood that are still in heavy rotation in my view queue. And some of these were made over seas for some very intereesting reasons!

This week we bring back our good friend Brian Crawford to talk about an incredibly fascinating time in the Disney company's history! Walt had money trapped in England after WWII and in order to make good use of it he headed overseas and made a few Disney classics!

So join us as Brian tells us all abou how Disney traveled the world not only in real life, but in cinema as well!!

Join us for a musical romp through Disney’s varied and generous musical catelog.Andrew and I are joined by our good buddy Kyle Bolmeyer to run through our favorite Disney music! It’s often what transports to the parks or the movies or even the cruise ships! It’s on our playlists, in our cars and even our ringtones! We run through our top 10 favorite songs throughout the Disney-sphere and talk ahow much we love the music and how we incorporate it into our lives. The music is as much of the parks as the sights - and of course food! And don't forget to leave a quick review! It's not something we ask for often but it'll really help out the show!!!

This week we are trying something a little different! We are going to complain, in a wonderful, magical, Disney kind of way, and talk about the Top Ten things that maybe drive us a little crazy! We are joined again by our buddy Hawk, and the three of us are going to air our grievances - even though Festivus is still far, far away! And don't worry - we are going to have fun and be nice and show out inner Grumpy’s - in the most Disney way possible! So join us for a spirited and cathartic conversation about the place we love so much!

And don't forget to join us each week LIVE in the chat on YouTube, Facebook and sometimes Instagram!

I don't want you to get used to this...but I am actually on time in getting this episode up and live - cause this is a good one and I didn't want anyone to miss a single second!

This week we chat with Lisa DiNoto and talk about life, candles, photography, running - it goes on ands on...in the best way possible! No matter where you interests lie there is something for you in this podcast! She is so accomplished at so many different things it makes talking to her not onlya joy - but extremely easy!

SO sit back and enjoy some amazing stories and adventures as we dissect how to love what we do and do what we love...along with a Disney thrown in to keep it interesting!

These shows are always my favorites! My love of all things Disney is rooted deeply in the Disney of my childhoood! And Brian Crawford is my favorite resource for going back in time to fondly remember why I do all this crazy Disney stuff! Not to mention he’s a heck of a nice guy!

This week the three of us sit around and talk about all those great live action films from when we were young! Walt seemed to love making them, at least he certainly loved introducing them, and he brought them to us either in the theater or each Sunday night in whole or in part as serials!

So tune in and let us know what you think!
