Butcher Block Horror Podcast

Happy New Year! This week we talk about Night of the Creeps. One of Fred Dekker's horror films that was like a cold, damp kiss to the horror genre! With fantastic Zombies, Tom Atkins, and alien slug creatures - This was a fun 80's horror romp!

I suppose this is a Holiday Special from Butcher Block. Night of the Comet isn't a terrible movie... It is also not a good movie. Joe kept seeing Quentin Tarantino all over the place. Zombies talk about stuff and turn into dust. There's a kind of Caged Heat minus the sex moment. Some scientists... Honestly you just have to watch this. There is a guy in a Santa suit - So I suppose it's a Christmas movie.

We finished our final puppet movie with Dead Silence. This movie is packed with story. SOoooo much story. Too much story. From legendary director James Wan - This movie was all about keeping your mouth shut... which we didn't do.

Rick Sloane made a movie about mind controlling puppets. MST3K made fun of it. It entered into the horror consciousness. 2021 saw us watch it and talk about it. Honestly - It wasn't the worst movie we've watched. It certainly didn't get boring. Stay a while and LISTEN!
