When we read I Samuel chapter 28 in the Holy Scriptures, we learn that Saul sought out a woman who had a familiar spirit to help him contact Samuel.  Samuel was absent from the body and present with the Lord.  Some argue that, instead of Samuel, the woman actually conjured up a familiar spirit.  In this episode of Butterfly Novel Podcast, we dissect the above chapter and verses to find out if Samuel's spirit really appeared, or if it was, in fact, just a familiar spirit.
