Even though a grand conspiracy kept Eric and Alex away for a little while, it could't keep Buttery Mess down forever. They guys are back to talk some video games. They discuss why Uncharted 4 might be better than a lot of movies, how Eric is terrible at non-sports games, and why everybody should play more video games.

We open the show discussing a handful of notable trailers that were released this past week. Then they go on a deep dive into the career of Paul Thomas Anderson. All of his films are discussed including a short film.

None of the movies are spoiled too much, but some details are revealed that perhaps you would want to remain unaware of before watching. However, Hard Eight is the exception; we took special care to keep details under wraps because it's a difficult movie to track down.
