A new study shows a butyrate-based supplement can help people with fatty liver disease. Participants with fatty liver and metabolic syndrome took either the supplement or a placebo for 3 months. Those taking the supplement saw significant improvements in liver health markers like FLI and reduced levels of harmful fats in the blood.
