This week Authentically Detroit celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

The episode begins with a quote from Dr. King’s, Letter from Birmingham Jail and hits the ground running from there. Anika Goss of Detroit Future City and Dr. Andre Perry, author of Know Your Price and senior fellow at Brookings Institute, joined Donna and Orlando to discuss the importance of building economic power in Black communities without feeding into the ills of Capitalism. They also discuss the repaving of i-375 and more meaningful solutions to providing reparations.
