Join Shannon and Kevin from the 4BC studios as they present another vlog (last for 2017) packed with information and advice about investing in Brisbane property.
Denis Najzar from Place Bulimba talks about living in Morningside. He speaks about why he chooses to live there as well as sell the real estate there.  Denis conducts over 1,000 open homes a year and, in this conversation, it is easy to see why he is the choice of local sellers, buyers and valuers who turn to him for an understanding about the Morningside marketplace.
In Shannon’s Market Overview he paints a realistic picture about Brisbane’s growth and points out that it is Australia’s 5th most affordable city but indicators like ‘time on market’ and ‘vendor discounting’ show that there is strong confidence in the market.
Shannon and Kevin are also joined by REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella who sets out her 2018 wish list for the Queensland real estate market.  What does she see ahead, what would she like to see happen and the REIQ outlook for 2018?
Becky gave us the question of the week.  Becky asks about investing in regional areas and specifically in Gatton. Shannon has some strong views and does not hold back.
This time Shannon’s comment deals with managing risk and he gives some sobering advice!

In this episode our special guest Nicola McDougall tells us about the Brisbane suburbs people simply do not want to leave.  We name them and Nicola details the reasons they are so ‘livable’.  Great information if you are looking to invest for sustained growth in an area that is popular with tenants or if you are looking for your next family home.
We take a detailed look at Stafford and meet one of the area’s top agents Richard Mirosh from LJ Hooker Stafford. He tells us about a recent typical sale that was purchased on the back of great re-development potential.
Shannon’s tip is always a highlight and this one does not disappoint.  This time he talks about one of the big mistakes he sees many property investors make and it has to do with strategy.

In this episode, we feature portion of an outstanding talk former Deputy Mayor of Brisbane – David Hinchliffe – presented to a select group of property investors recently.   In his talk, David reflects on his memories of one of the most influential development periods in the Queensland capital’s history.  Some decisions made then, were so far reaching and visionary we are reaping the rewards now.
Hear Shannon’s take on the Bayside suburbs of Brisbane and how some of the developments trigger value growth.  We catch up with a leading agent in one of those desirable suburbs – Manly – to find out about a recent record sale result.  Haydn Meyer from Ray White Manly tells us about the sale of 101 Kingsley Terrace Manly.
Shannon’s tip is about timing.  Not timing the market but timing your life.   He tells us how that can help build a profitable property portfolio.   The boys also highlight the most recent Boom and Bust report from Louis Christopher and why they are great fans of Louis’s predictions.
